Many in our employee benefits industry are accustomed to these secure encrypted emails that come from insurance carriers and your own internal structures. Under the leadership of Ascensus, Wrangle will follow suit and use this approach going forward. Although EINs are considered public information, they can mimic social security numbers. With states enacting strict privacy laws, there is a need to monitor EIN numbers.

Q: Why are EINs, which are public information, subject to Secure Mail monitoring?
A: We take protecting client information very seriously and continually explore new ways to protect While EINs are indeed public information, there is a slight chance that they could inadvertently mirror an individualās Social Security number. Since many states have enacted changes to their state privacy laws that set stricter standards for the protection of personal information, Secure Mail must monitor EINs.
Q: How does the email security system work?
A: Each time we send an email, the message and attachments are scanned for strings that may indicate the potential presence of numerical data by our email filtering system. If the system determines the email or attachments may contain such data, the email is rerouted to our Secure Mail
Q: If I send an email that contains an EIN, is it subject to Secure Mail?
A: Incoming emails arenāt monitored by Secure Therefore, emails that you send to us wonāt be routed through our secure system. Our current method for receiving and processing emails will remain the same.

Q: How will I be alerted that I have Secure Mail?
A: The Secure Mail system will automatically send you an email notification from our Secure Mail server with a link to log in and retrieve the message and
Q: How do I get the email and information in Secure Mail?
A: Click the āView Messageā link in the email notifying you that a message that is available for If this is your first time logging into the system, youāll need to complete a short registration process. Follow the registration steps to complete your log in and retrieve your message. If youāve used Secure Mail before, youāll only need to enter your password. To get to Secure Mail without an email prompting you to retrieve a message, go to https://secureemail.ascensus.com.
Q: How long are messages available in Secure Mail?
A: Messages and attachments expire and become unavailable after 180 days, whether theyāve been opened or The main interface will show days to expiration for each message. Once you open a message, you may download attachments for future reference and delete or save the message. You may also respond to us directly in Secure Mail.

A: You can select āForgot Passwordā on the Secure Mail login Secure Mail will offer you the option to email your password hint phrase or reset your password.
